Southern Zone AGM will be held on Sunday 16th May at the Goulburn Workers Club starting at 10am In addition there will be a competitors meeting held at 9am, this is prior to the Zone AGM
Do you want to have a say in the running of the Southern Zone? Do you want a say in the end of season awards?
In order for competitors to have a say in the running of the Zone competitors need to be represented at the Zone AGM and General Meetings. This is your chance to have your voice heard!!
At the upcoming Tumut Rodeo a meeting will be held to vote in an MRC for the 2010/2011 Season, as well as event directors for each event.
At this meeting nominations will be accepted for the SZ MRC and Event directors for all events, with the exception of the Jnr Events Director which will be 1 position. Please note, if nominated for a position the competitor must be present at the meeting to accept the nomination, or advise in writing of acceptance of the nomination.
Unlike the committees of the Zone the MRC and the event directors represent the competing members at a zone level, 2 MRC delegates can vote at the Zone meetings.
In the absence of a National MRC representative being present at a Southern Zone Rodeo, or potentially in addition to a National MRC representative:
· liaise with event directors on decisions · liaise with competitors and committees when disputes arise at rodeos · Represent any competitors concerns at the Zone AGM and General Meetings · Assist with procurement of End of Year awards
In the absence of a National Event Director being present at a Southern Zone Rodeo, or potentially in addition to a National Event Director:
· liaise with MRC on decisions · liaise with competitors, MRC and committees when disputes arise at rodeos · Assist with collection of votes for SZ stock awards
In addition there will be a competitors meeting held at 9am Sunday 16th May at the Goulburn Workers Club. This is prior to the Zone AGM, which will start at 10am.
