Cooma Rural Rodeo Getting to the Rodeo |

Cooma is located at the gateway to the Snowy Mountains in NSW. Just over an hour’s drive from Canberra and around four hours south west of Sydney, Cooma is easy to get to. The rodeo is held at the Cooma showgrounds which are at the Jindabyne end of town.

Weather. Although the weather can be unpredictable in the Snowy Mountains and you can get a cold snap at any time, the weather in Cooma in February is usually hot and dry. The average maximum is 25.4 degrees and the minimum is 10.2 degrees with an average of only 4.8 days of rain. So pack some sunscreen and slip on a hat and you should be all set for the rodeo. |
